Job summary

The Lead Bartender at The Jasper Hotel Fargo, part of Aparium Hotel Group, leads the bar team with professionalism and hospitality, mentoring bartenders, managing shifts, and upholding safety and high standards of service behind the bar.

You will contribute to seasonal cocktails and the beverage program while building a loyal guest base and ensuring timely, guest-focused service in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal).
• TiPS Alcohol service certification and SafeStaff Certificate of Completion, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with impeccable service, professionalism and efficiency.
• Ambassador for the Jasper Hotel, sharing stories behind cocktails and ingredients.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and wine pairings for guests.
• Ensure safe, responsible alcohol service and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar workspace.
• Assist in creating seasonal cocktail menus and update bartending binders with recipes.
• Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks to maintain consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with F&B and Culinary teams for seamless service.
