Job summary

Millennium Hotels & Resorts invites a Lead Bartender to oversee the Beast & Butterflies bar at M Social Sunnyvale. You will craft high-quality cocktails, mentor bartenders, and maintain energetic, guest-focused service in a fast-paced, social setting.

You will lead by example, manage opening/closing tasks, ensure compliance with California alcohol laws, and collaborate with guest services and events teams to elevate the experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years bartending experience in a full-service setting.
• Lead bartender or supervisory experience preferred.
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team to deliver quality cocktails and guest service.
• Oversee bar setup and stock liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
• Coach bartenders and barbacks; ensure smooth service.
• Ensure safe alcohol service per California law.
• Collaborate with F&B and events teams.
