Job summary

Millennium Hotels & Resorts seeks a Barback for M Social Sunnyvale to support bartenders and the Food & Beverage team. You will stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and glassware, keeping service areas clean and organized to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a high-volume environment. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Barback experience in hotel or restaurant is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage products preferred.
• Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain upon hire, as applicable.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required or ability to obtain as required by California law.

Responsibilities

• Stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies.
• Replenish products to maintain stock levels during service.
• Prepare and restock garnishes, fruit, napkins, straws, and bar essentials.
• Ensure bartenders have clean, organized workstations and supplies.
• Follow opening, closing, and side-work procedures and safety guidelines.
