Job summary

M Social Sunnyvale is seeking an energetic Bartender to craft cocktails, serve premium beverages, and engage guests with a vibrant, hospitality-driven experience in the Beast & Butterflies bar.

Bring 1–2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, and a customer-service mindset. California alcohol regs, POS skills, and a flexible schedule are required. Join a dynamic team within Millennium Hotels & Resorts portfolio offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant, hotel, or upscale bar.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required or ability to obtain as required by California law.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and beverage transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages per recipes and brand standards.
• Create handcrafted cocktails while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Accurately process guest checks and payments using the POS system.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
• Welcome guests with a warm, engaging attitude.
• Build rapport and deliver personalized service.
• Collaborate with F&B, Culinary, Banquet, and Management teams.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock and assist with inventory.
