Job summary

M Social Sunnyvale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a Lead Bartender to helm the Beast & Butterflies bar. You will craft cocktails, supervise the bartending team, and uphold brand standards in a lively, guest-focused environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of bartending experience, leadership ability, and strong knowledge of beverages, glassware, and POS operations. You will train teammates, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver an energetic guest experience consistent with

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant, hotel, upscale bar, or lifestyle property.
• Previous lead bartender or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Lead beverage service and ensure quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor bartenders and barbacks during daily operations.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members and provide feedback to management.
• Oversee bar setup, inventory, and stock to support smooth service during high-volume periods.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Banquet, and Management teams to coordinate beverage service.
• Maintain a safe, compliant bar environment and ensure proper handling of cash and transactions.
