Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is seeking a bartender/mixologist who will lead a bar team and ensure prompt, courteous service. You will prepare beverages to recipe standards, assist with menu design, and coordinate with restaurant staff for bar/lounge guests when needed.

The role requires strong liquor knowledge, formal bartending training if available, and fluency in English. The position emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and maintaining bar cleanliness and inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mixologist or Bartender.
• Strong Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must meet state legal age requirements.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and upsell to maximize revenues; balance cash drawer.
• Promote teamwork and monitor service quality among staff.
• Prepare beverages to standard recipes and coordinate food service for bar/lounge guests if applicable.
• Monitor guest intoxication and ID guests as required.
• Set up bar, restock supplies and ensure bar cleanliness.
