Job summary

Sin & Tonic is a new concept from The Fifty/50 Group, opening in Chicago. We seek an experienced Lead Bartender and Supervisor to bridge the bar team with leadership, working with Andrew Marinelli on beverage development and menu iteration. You will bartend 3-4 shifts weekly and support operations.

We value discipline, reliability, and leadership; there will be updated management training and opportunities to help open the establishment. A strict no-drinking policy applies on shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of high-volume bartending experience.
• Lead bartender or supervisory experience preferred.
• Illinois BASSET and ServSafe Manager certifications required on hire.
• Ability to work 50–55 hours per week on late-night closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead nightly bar closing procedures, ensuring security, cash reconciliation, register balancing, and proper facility lock-up.
• Oversee prep, batching, station readiness, and sanitation standards across bar and floor.
• Direct the bar team through peak volume, maintaining pace of service and hospitality standards.
• Collaborate with Beverage Director on menu development and signature features.
• Uphold exact cocktail specs, ice handling, glassware presentation, and service steps.
