Job summary

Union Padel Club in Chicago is seeking a Head Bartender & Club Experience Lead to own the bar, beverage program, and the hospitality experience around it. This is a hands‑on leadership role that will be behind the bar, managing inventory and shaping the program while engaging with members at events and social moments.

You will manage day‑to‑day operations, oversee service standards, and help build a welcoming atmosphere across club activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending, bar management, restaurant, private club, or high‑touch hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, coffee, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of a bar operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar operation and set service standards.
• Create a warm, energetic environment for members and guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and zero‑proof beverages.
• Build relationships with members and become a familiar face within the club.
• Heat, plate, and serve food while maintaining presentation standards.
• Support private events, member gatherings, and club programming.
• Train and support other team members in bar and hospitality areas.
