Job summary

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a Lead Barista to oversee shifts, train teammates, and ensure exemplary guest service. You will prepare high-quality beverages and foods, manage POS operations, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout your shift.

The role requires a California Food Handler Card, background check, and full-time availability, including weekends and evenings. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug test required.
• California Food Handler Card required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Full-time availability, including weekends and evenings, with flexible schedules.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train baristas during shifts and provide clear direction.
• Assign opening/closing, cleaning, stocking, and side-work tasks.
• Provide quality beverages and food items by following recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and customize orders as requested.
• Serve prepared foods and baked goods.
• Process customer payments and manage POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper station stocking; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Report policy deviations to F&B Manager or Supervisor.
• Set professional standards for attendance, appearance, and service.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate goals and updates.
