Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Lead Barista to support the cafe operations under the Senior F&B Manager. You will guide the barista team, ensure consistent product quality and guest experience, and help with onboarding and training.

You will educate customers about our coffees, handle orders, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. The role requires strong customer service, cashier experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Cashier experience is required.
• Able to interact with coworkers to ensure service standards.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to work in open-air environments in all climates.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Meet health requirements for food handling and alcohol services.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on our products and services.
• Answer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and freshness.
• Greet customers with fast, friendly service.
• Enter sales orders into POS system accurately.
• Develop knowledge of coffee and tea regions and flavor differences.
• Sell baked goods and miscellaneous items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Oversee shift execution and onboarding/training.
• Act as liaison between frontline staff and management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
