Job summary

Paris Baguette - Winter Park, FL is seeking a Lead Baker to oversee quality food production, manage budgets, and lead the kitchen team. This role requires ensuring safety, sanitation, and adherence to the bakery’s standards while coordinating catering events with the operations and sales teams.

The ideal candidate has a culinary background with 3+ years in kitchen management within a fast-paced environment, plus ServSafe certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or culinary degree, preferred.
• Minimum of three years kitchen management experience in high-volume retail, bakery, hospitality, or restaurant venue.

Responsibilities

• Leads in baking and preparing food as necessary.
• Ensures product quality, freshness and presentation meet standards for bake, cake, sandwich and beverage.
• Adheres to company Food & Beverage mandated menu and purchasing programs.
• Maintains budgeted revenue, cost of goods, labor, supplies and operating cash flow relating to food operations and reviews monthly P&L statements.
• Plans, supervises and executes all catering functions with operations and sales staff.
• Recruits, hires and retains best-in-class staff with management support.
• Maintains kitchen facilities in sanitary condition and schedules staff to varying volumes.
• Coordinates staff and resources in a high-volume environment.
