Newport Bakers LLC is seeking a Lead Baker to oversee our new production, combining hands-on baking with operational management. The role requires bakery experience, strong leadership, and a go-getter attitude to ensure quality in high-volume output.

The position is part-time, in-person, with morning shifts and no weekends. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with paid time off as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Lead in a bakery or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of bakery equipment such as Hobart 140 QT mixers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to be involved in all bakery operations.
• Ability to produce high-quality bakery products in high volumes.
• Educational background in Business Management or Culinary Arts preferred.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Baker to oversee our new production. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, go-getter with a strong background in high volume production environments ensuring product quality. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on production skills and operational management.

Bakery experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple bakery projects, ensuring they are completed on time
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the mixing, including batch logs, ingredient management, quality and baking process.
• Product Development: Actively participate in the development and production of bakery products for cleints
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the mixing team to achieve high performance and foster a positive work environment.

• Strong knowledge and experience with bakery equipment such as Hobart 140 QT mixers
• Strong leadership skills.
