Unified is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to own and scale our backend architecture. You will take ownership of the platform, guide implementation, and report directly to the CEO as the team grows.

This role emphasizes owning AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway), Terraform, and observability with Datadog, while collaborating with data, mobile, and web teams to deliver scalable backend services.

Qualificações

• Experience owning backend systems used by frontend clients.
• Proficient in Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Strong on security and incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the backend team and set priorities, culture, and best practices.
• Coordinate with data, mobile, and web leads to provide backend services.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Extend Python codebase and integration with external services.
• Handle incident management and security responsibilities.
