Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer, Cloud to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions with governance and automation. You will drive provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization using Terraform, Ansible, and Harness while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across cloud environments.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, apply DevSecOps practices, and mentor engineers on Azure Landing Zone concepts, RBAC, and network security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related technical discipline or related experience.
• Advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum 8–10 years in a technical engineering role with architecture, design, implementation and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zone hub-and-spoke topology, governance and cost management.
• Architect secure and scalable networks using Azure VWAN, VPNs, DNS and firewall configurations.
• Build automated provisioning with Terraform, Ansible and Harness; develop CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python; collaborate with teams using GitHub/JFrog Artifactory.
