Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer, Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps Engineer) to manage Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes security, governance, and automation while delivering scalable, developer-focused platform solutions.

The candidate will steer IDP initiatives, collaborate across security, operations, and development teams, and mentor engineers in modern DevOps and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years in a technical engineering role or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
• Advanced degree desirable.
• Willingness to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel if needed.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure application landing zones using Terraform.
• Develop and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with Harness, Backstage for developer self-service.
• Engineer and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Implement GitOps and container orchestration across AKS, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Lead monitoring, observability, and reliability using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Splunk.
