Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 9+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years; in lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience.
• 7+ years in mechanical design, requirements analysis, specification generation, interface definition, component selection, 3D CAD modeling, data collection, and documentation.
• Experience on avionics products or systems and packaging electronics for military/avionics environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of production products.
• Develop design control documentation and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including thermal/structural analysts, systems engineers, and program managers.
• Interact with outside vendors to source parts and support manufacturing.
• Create complex mechanical layouts for multiple products and validate rugged environmental performance (temperature, vibration, shock).
• Guide analyses in mechanical, electro-mechanical, and opto-mechanical domains.
