Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Mechanical Engineer (Design) to work in Plano, TX. You will be responsible for designing parts and systems for aircraft and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure compliance with requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has considerable experience in Mechanical Design Engineering within the Aerospace field, with proficiency in CAD software being essential. A DOD Secret security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry.
• 2 years of CAD experience with NX/Unigraphics preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of detail parts and assemblies for aircraft.
• Lead design activities and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Prepare engineering drawings and ensure design compliance.
