Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3pm-1am) in Chattanooga, TN. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing avionics units and aircraft systems to the component level, with a focus on Nav/Com/Pulse/Radar/Autopilot systems.

The role offers a 10%–15% shift premium, paid lunch, and a path to first shift after 3 years, plus benefits starting on day one, including medical, dental, 401K match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics or avionics training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal.
• Ability to communicate in English and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot).
• Perform general avionics support including removal/install of panels and components.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Verify aircraft performance and system operation after maintenance.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling for operations.
