Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to join the FBM D5LE2 Avionics team in Littleton, CO. The role focuses on developing Avionics Packages for Initiation and Preset subsystems of the D5LE2 program, with in-office work and no telework option.

You will lead circuit design activities, supervise schematic capture, PCB layouts, and perform worst-case and parts-stress analyses within a cross-functional team, interacting with government customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in circuit design at card/board level schematic and analysis.
• Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or equivalent), US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Delegate RSE authority for review and approval of technical scope.
• Subsystem design, delivery, and certification.
• Advocate for product technical aspects through lifecycle.
• Support electrical schematics design and PCB layout guidance.
• Conduct Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Collaborate in cross-functional avionics development and integration.
• Troubleshoot/test anomalies and support system-level testing.
