Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer to develop, integrate, and produce state-of-the-art avionics electronics in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

You will design schematics, guide board layouts, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure flight-ready hardware. A BS EE or higher and 5+ years of experience, plus US citizenship and DoD Secret clearance eligibility, are required.

Qualifications

• BS EE or higher from an accredited college.
• Experience with digital or analog circuit design.
• Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.
• Collaborate with PCB, Guidance, Navigation & Control, FPGA, and Special Test Equipment teams to construct and checkout hardware.
• Design and prepare the checkout and test procedures to bring hardware to Acceptance and Qualification for flight.
• Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and support Product Certification and system tests.
