Job summary

Gulfstream in Westfield, MA seeks a Lead Avionics/Electrical Technician to plan and coordinate all electrical/avionics activities and provide customers with daily information on schedules, repairs, parts shipped to vendors.

The role requires extensive avionics/electrical expertise, leadership, and the ability to adapt to schedule changes. FAA A&P/license or repairman certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years on large/mid-size aircraft.
• 8 years in avionics/electrical career field or 2 years schooling + 6 years related experience.
• FAA A&P license or repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and completes tasks to meet master schedule; provides daily status to management.
• Coordinates Electrical and Avionics activities to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Supervises and guides electrical technicians; performs troubleshooting and inspections.
• Maintains logs, records, and preventive maintenance program for tools and test equipment.
• Ensures compliance with procedures, FARs, and safety regulations.
• Adapts to schedule changes and coordinates with other disciplines on projects.
