Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Avionics / Aircraft Electrical Technician with 5 years of avionics/electrical experience. The role will involve testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and wiring avionics systems on business jets in a Palm Beach environment.

Candidates should have strong blueprint reading skills and be able to lead troubleshooting efforts while mentoring teammates. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and preferably an A&P, FCC, or NCATT certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years experience in an avionics/electrical field (2 years accredited schooling may offset experience).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and aircraft electrical systems.
• Perform operational and functional testing to ensure defect-free aircraft delivery.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor team members on diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved methods (splicing, soldering, pinning).
• Set up and operate test equipment to verify system performance and reliability.
• Coordinate across disciplines to meet production schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
