Job summary

SOGECLAIR is seeking a Senior Electrical/Aerospace Engineer to lead the integration of mission systems on aircraft for Defense customers. You will translate statements of work into detailed requirements, create deliverables such as system schematics, interface control documents, wiring diagrams, and test plans, and review installation drawings and qualification data.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of electrical system design experience, and a

Qualifications

BS in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical system design or related field.
Working knowledge of FAA, TCCA and EASA Part 25 certification requirements.
Familiar with RTCA DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 standards.
Proficient with MS Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of mission systems on aircraft for Defense customers.
Identify deliverables, risks, and challenges in bid and proposal phases.
Create system schematics, interface control documents, wiring diagrams and test plans.
Review installation drawings and qualification data.
Decompose statements of work into detailed requirements.
Analyze ground and flight test data to verify performance.
Support change management and coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
Participate in design reviews and program governance sessions.
Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 25 FAA, TCCA and EASA certification.
