Job summary

CACl International is seeking an AVD Engineer to design, configure, and maintain a large Azure Virtual Desktop environment. You will serve as SME for performance issues and collaborate across teams to optimize deployment and operations.

The role requires a strong background in Azure, Intune, FSLogix, and AD, with a focus on security, STIGs, and enterprise scale. Excellent communication and teamwork are a must for success.

Qualifications

• U.S. DoD security clearance eligible candidate.
• Experience managing Azure-based VDI environments in large enterprises.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Azure AD, and Intune.
• Proven ability to integrate VDI with Office 365 services and FSLogix.
• Experience applying STIGs and endpoint protection in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design VDI solutions; provide Tier 3/4 support to admins.
• Guide desktop optimization for platform interoperability; liaison for VDI tech.
• Provide endpoint support and resolve VDI-related issues.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of VDI administration and implementation.
• Operate across multiple, complex production environments with stakeholders.
• Conduct trade studies and advise on make/buy decisions.
