Job summary

AVOMO is seeking a Lead Instructor to drive hands-on training for our autonomous vehicle fleet operations. You will mentor onsite instructors and lead high-stakes sessions, serving as the operational link between Fleet and Operations to ensure onboarding-to-graduation training is thorough and aligned with safety standards.

You will oversee training delivery, lifecycle integration, and curriculum optimization while enforcing safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in adult education, automotive technology, or technical training.
• Experience in AV industry is a major plus.
• Able to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Training Leadership: conduct classroom and field training sessions to ensure quality and readiness.
• Team Leadership & People Development: mentor onsite Training Instructors and coach for growth.
• Operational Integration & Training Lifecycle: bridge Operations and Fleet to embed training in daily workflows.
• Applied Curriculum Optimization: refine training content using partner materials for real-world relevance.
• Operational Safety & Excellence: enforce safety protocols and troubleshoot training or operational issues.
