Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to develop content and train a growing team of EV/AV technicians across the US. You will create curricula, host classes, and mentor staff to improve performance and safety.

The role requires hands-on automotive expertise, leadership skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% from a Miami base, with a competitive salary and full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience working on cars (brakes, advanced suspension, electrical repair and diagnosis...).
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and software components; read/interpret schematics.
• Proficient with automotive shop equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create learning curriculum focusing on skills development and retention of technical knowledge.
• Coach and mentor technicians to enhance core capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide ongoing training to technical service teams including management; lead classes for new hires and ongoing sessions.
• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and develop learning plans.
• Develop processes and procedures for training and assist with managing programs for growing the training dept.
• Maintain expert knowledge of AV/EV vehicle maintenance methods and tools.
