Job summary

Pearl Technology is seeking a Lead AV Installation Technician to drive high-quality audiovisual installations and lead crews on mid-to large-scale projects. This role emphasizes safety, precise cabling, and system integration across Crestron/AMX platforms.

You will configure, test, and commission end-to-end AV solutions, collaborating with stakeholders while maintaining schedules and documentation. Willingness to travel regionally and contribute to ongoing training is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CTS and CTS-I preferred.
• AQAV CQT certification preferred or achievable within first 12 months.
• Experience with Crestron/AMX systems.
• Strong networking, cable termination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel locally regionally up to 90% and nationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, label, and route cabling per drawings and safety standards.
• Build and dress AV racks; ensure signal separation, ergonomics, heat management.
• Install and calibrate displays, projectors, and screens with proper alignment.
• Lead crews on mid-to large-scale AV installations and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate status and next steps.
