Job summary

Pearl Technology seeks a Senior AV Installation Technician to lead the on-site setup and integration of audiovisual systems across client spaces. You will install displays, projectors, and control systems, calibrate image and sound, and ensure all wiring, cabling, and hardware meet design specs.

The role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on expertise with AV hardware. You will collaborate with project teams, verify system performance, and troubleshoot to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience installing and configuring AV systems (Crestron/AMX).
• Strong DSP and audio networking skills.
• Proficient in networking, diagnosing, and troubleshooting AV systems.
• Advanced cable termination and rack-building skills.
• Ability to verify system performance and QA processes.
• Experience with wire-pulling, terminating cables, and rigging.
• Advanced IT knowledge including IP addressing and network config.
• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn quickly and pursue certifications.
• Knowledge of sound systems, EQ, and signal paths.
• Familiarity with Dante or AV over IP.
• Experience with HDBaseT and video transport methods.
• Travel availability up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical installation of AV systems per drawings and standards.
• Rig devices safely and follow rigging structures.
• Terminate cables with correct connectors and tools.
• Build and dress racks with proper cable management.
• Design, tune, and test MATV systems from head end to output.
• Transmit video for presentations, understanding signals and transport methods.
• Install displays, projectors, and screens with proper alignment.
• Record AV signals and verify performance against standards.
• Troubleshoot to resolve system performance issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams.
• Lead larger AV project installations when needed.
