Job summary

CSAV Systems seeks an experienced AV Lead Install Tech to drive successful installations of commercial audio/visual projects in the tri-state area. The role requires interpreting drawings, installing AV cabling, and coordinating on-site activities with project teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Biamp/BSS DSPs, Crestron control systems, teleconferencing, video walls, and digital signage, plus the ability to travel as needed.

• Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time.
• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding.

• Must be able to work in high places, as well as small cramped places.
• Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places.
• Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities.
• Must be able to travel within the coverage area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand architectural drawings, blueprints and project documents.
• Rack construction, installing network & AV cabling and pathways.
• Terminate and label network, audio and video cabling.
• Utilize wire strippers, crimpers and soldering tools.
• Ensure each system aligns with installation drawings and engineering instructions.
• Complete service calls post-install with troubleshooting.
• Maintain on-going dialogue with Tech Supervisor and Project Coordinator.
• Keep inventory for assigned equipment and materials.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
