Job summary

Artisan Technologies: Design + Integration seeks a Lead Installation Technician to head field installations in the Tampa Bay area. You will read plans, install and troubleshoot AV, automation, networking, and related systems, building racks and ensuring top workmanship.

Apply by leading projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients and trades, and mentoring junior staff. Government work may be involved nationwide, with no travel required for this role.

Qualifications

• Professional field experience across core technology areas listed: home automation, commercial AV, structured cabling and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently run projects or lead technicians in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations in the field from start through final commissioning and turnover.
• Read plans, scopes, and system documentation.
• Install and troubleshoot AV, automation, networking, surveillance, cabling, lighting control and related systems.
• Build clean, organized equipment racks.
• Coordinate with clients, builders, contractors and other trades.
• Identify and resolve field issues and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Mentor junior technicians as the team grows.
