Job summary

Axis Connected Technologies in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Lead Commercial Low-Voltage / AV Technician to own field installations and guide our installation team. This is not an entry-level role; you will be handed scopes, drawings, equipment and a crew to deliver professional results.

You will collaborate with the Director of Technology and ownership to turn engineered designs into successful installations, reading plans, terminating Cat6/Cat6A, installing AV gear and UniFi networking, and

Qualifications

• Minimum field experience in low-voltage installations.
• Ability to read scopes of work, plans and equipment lists.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within Florida.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial low-voltage and AV installations from prewire through final installation.
• Direct and assist technicians on active jobsites.
• Read scopes of work, plans, drawings and equipment lists.
• Install Cat6/Cat6A, coax, speaker wire and other low-voltage cabling.
• Install TVs, displays, racks, network equipment, speakers, cameras and related equipment.
• Build and dress professional equipment racks.
• Troubleshoot cabling, network, AV and equipment issues in the field.
• Coordinate daily field activities with management.
• Travel within Florida when required for projects.
