Job summary

Advanced Cable Connection in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Lead Technician to install, configure, and service commercial A/V systems, including conference rooms, video walls, and digital signage. You will lead projects and ensure high quality workmanship.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on A/V installation skills, proficiency with control systems (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, etc.), and the ability to travel to job sites within 75 miles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional A/V training preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial A/V installation and service.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage small teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service commercial A/V systems including conference rooms and video walls.
• Lead projects and mentor junior technicians; coordinate small teams.
• Program DSPs and control processors; configure conferencing solutions.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document system work and site surveys.
