Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to support contracted projects.

You will perform installation tasks, lead Level 1 Technicians, read schematics, and ensure progress is reported to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements. The role requires on-site work at customer locations with travel to various sites, using hand and power tools, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
• Ability to lead small installation teams on site.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks at client sites per project scope.
• Demonstrate site leadership and oversee Level 1 Technicians.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install, terminate, and test AV systems.
• Communicate daily job site status to Project Manager.
