Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to support contracted projects, performing installation tasks from cable pulls to rack fabrication. You will read schematics, install AV equipment, and supervise Level 1 Technicians on smaller projects.

This role requires travel to various job sites, a valid driver’s license, and strong safety focus. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of AV installation experience and a high school diploma, with opportunity for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability for company vehicle use.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Should be able to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks and client training per project scope.
• Lead on-site technicians on smaller projects and report progress to PM.
• Read project schematics and blueprints for proper installation.
• Use hand and power tools for installing AV systems and cabling.
• Test cabling and system functionality; manage on-site materials.
• Coordinate with other trades and communicate daily site status.
