Job summary

Barrett's is seeking an AV Lead Installation Technician to lead low-voltage installation projects in Lombard, IL. This in-person role requires climbing, cabling, and hands-on hardware installation across residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites and in-field installation work.
• Ability to climb ladders and pull cabling, plus use power and hand tools.
• Hands-on, technically curious and eager to learn in a field role.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
• Mount devices at the ends of wires and build/lace equipment racks.
• Troubleshoot devices and oversee daily activities when PM not on-site.
• Monitor progress, communicate field issues and material needs.
• Conduct on-the-job training and mentor technicians.
