Job summary

Lumibuild is seeking an AV Technician II to lead on-site installation and commissioning of AV systems. You will guide installers, diagnose issues, and mentor lower-level technicians to deliver high-quality client spaces.

The role requires prior AV field experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read system drawings and wire terminations. You’ll collaborate with engineering and project managers to meet schedules and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial AV field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in soldering, crimping and compression terminations.
• Ability to read system drawings and understand project documentation.
• Familiarity with major manufacturers and product lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation and supervise installers to ensure quality.
• Commission AV systems and document commissioning checklists.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot post-installation issues.
• Mentor and train entry-level technicians.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management to stay on schedule.
