Job summary

Ebode delivers integrated smart home and commercial technology systems powered by robust networking and reliable infrastructure. Lead Technicians are hands‑on leaders guiding installations of AV, lighting, surveillance, and automation systems while mentoring junior team members and ensuring quality project delivery.

You will work onsite in Plano, TX, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with some travel and flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years AV/IT or control system installation experience.
• Ability to read system drawings and adapt to scope changes in the field.
• OSHA safety knowledge (preferred).
• Personal tool kit required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installations and mentor junior technicians.
• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Coax).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (TV, speakers, cameras, access points, control devices).
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices.
• Advanced understanding of networks.
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices, wiring and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate onsite progress with Project Managers.
• Provide client communication, support, and training.
