AVI-SPL in Charleston, SC, seeks a role responsible for final testing and commissioning of complex AV systems during and after build. You'll provide technical leadership on tasks and coordinate with the Project Manager to document test results.

You will read schematics, test functionality, troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems, perform field installations, and train clients. Travel to job sites is required.

Formación

• Must have strong communication and professional writing.
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment.
• Support user acceptance testing.
• Minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) - changes and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose complex system problems.
• Understand IP networking and advanced signal flow for AV.
• Excellent PC proficiency and independent work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems.
• Review SOW to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
• Field installation of control programs - upload/download capability.
• Write code for DSP systems and perform minor programming changes.
• Fine tune AV systems for optimal performance.
• Configure IP addressable devices for network communication.
• Perform client training and final job documentation as needed.
• Act as a customer liaison when PM is unavailable.
• Create, track, and complete project punchlists.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.
