Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Tech Lead in Lisle, IL, onsite at a customer location. You will lead validation across ADAS, body and powertrain domains using Vector and HiL tools, and develop test plans and automation scripts.

The role requires strong leadership and hands‑on testing experience in automotive engineering. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage sprint activities, and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional engineering experience in electrical/electronics, hardware, software or controls in a LEAD role.
Strong expertise in ADAS, Brakes, Active safety, Passive safety, or Powertrain features.
Expertise in HiL test systems (dSPACE, Vector, NI, ETAS).
Knowledge of model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK.
Experience with CAN stack and flash bootloader integration.
Familiarity with trace capture tools (CANalyzer, CANoe) and ETAS INCA.
Experience with HiL testing, vehicle integration and validation.

Responsibilities

Lead the validation of automotive electronic systems using Vector and HiL tools.
Develop test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
Perform functional, performance and integration testing; document results.
Develop and implement test automation scripts (CAPL, Python) for streamlined validation.
