Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. $2,750 sign-on bonus (for first-time hires).

Pay is based on a flat-rate model; hourly rates reflect regional earning potential and may vary with workload and experience. Bridgestone supports ASE certs and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• MUST have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer/company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state & local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests/fees covered; bonus per test passed.
