Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay range is $27.77 - $58.73 per hour. Paid formal training and ASE certification support help you grow while delivering high-quality automotive service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer or company vehicles.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair skills.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification or license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years.
