Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model, rewarding efficiency and expertise in this region.

Expect continued paid formal training and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications within two years; the company covers tests and supports development toward higher skill levels.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension/steering.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company; bonus for passed tests.
