Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a team toward higher customer satisfaction. The position rewards skilled professionals with a flat-rate pay model based on tasks completed in this region.

You will stay current with automotive technology through paid training and work toward ASE certifications, with company support for test fees. Minimum qualifications include valid license and strong diagnostics skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Proficient in brakes, alignment, steering, suspension, and tire repair.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Experience in automotive repair and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; bonuses for tests.
