Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while guiding a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. You will diagnose to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, suspension, and more, and mentor fellow technicians.

You’ll stay up to date with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training and pursue ASE certifications within two years, supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension and electrical.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within the first two years (tests paid by company).
