Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer care. You will work in a fast-paced service environment with performance-based, flat-rate pay and a commitment to fair wages across regions.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, mentorship of junior techs, ongoing paid training, and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Brakes/hydraulics and steering/suspension experience.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• 3 years automotive repair experience or vocational program.
• ASE certification in at least one A1-A8.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake/hydraulic, exhaust, primary/advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years; tests paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
