Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while applying leadership to guide a team toward improved customer care.

This role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $24.10 to $41.95 per hour, reflecting regional earning potential and performance.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8; tests and fees paid by the company (pass/fail).
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Strong ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake & hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignments, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus per test passed.
