Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician for Bridgestone Retail Operations. The role focuses on diagnosing drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to enhance customer care and satisfaction. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for those with current State Inspection certifications.

The position features a performance-based flat-rate pay model with hourly rates in the market range. The team benefits include paid vacation, holidays, healthcare, and opportunities for ASE

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: valid driver's license, brakes/repair skills, alignment/suspension diagnosis
• Preferred: ASE certs in 3+ areas, state inspection license
• Ability to explain diagnoses to non-technical customers

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers
• Stay current with automotive technology via paid training
• Assist and train technicians; pursue ASE certifications within 2 years
