Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician for our Bridgestone Retail Operations network. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward excellent customer care, with a focus on quality and safety.

You’ll receive paid formal training, opportunities to pursue ASE certifications, and a performance-based, flat-rate pay structure reflecting regional work and personal productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Able to explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Must pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test/fees paid by the company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in braking, suspension, electrical and engine systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and teammates.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and mentor other technicians in technical tasks.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within first two years; tests funded by the company.
