Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Tampa, FL is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspect vehicles for problems, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Store and Service Managers, you will apply in-depth repair knowledge, handle diagnostic tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering top-quality service, even on weekends.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years automotive service/repair in a professional setting.
• ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
• Must have own technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work with diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new technical information to stay updated with automotive technology.
• Uphold company values and comply with policies and safety standards.
