Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a team toward higher customer satisfaction. You’ll perform repairs to stringent specifications and stay updated with evolving automotive technology through ongoing paid training.

Applicants should have brake and suspension expertise, strong communication skills, and ASE certifications within two years; the company covers test fees and offers

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brake diagnosis/repair expertise and suspension/alignment skills.
• Experience communicating technical info to non-technical customers.
• A.S.E. certifications in at least 3 of A1–A8 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs clearly to customers and teammates.
• Keep up with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and mentor technicians, supporting team performance.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; test fees covered.
